Actress Priyanka Chopra has slammed reports that her Scottish friend Gerard Butler has been signed to play one of her husbands in the upcoming film Saat Khoon Maaf.
The film, which will be helmed by Vishal Bharadwaj is said to to be a celluloid version of the Ruskin Bond's book Susanna's Seven Husbands.
Six out of the seven male leads have been finalised with Naseeruddin Shah, John Abraham, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Irrfan Khan, Anu Kapoor and Naseer's youngest son Vivaan acting in the film.
It was reported in the media recently that Butler is tipped to play the role of the seventh husband after Priyanka used her personal rapport with Butler to rope him in for the film.
"Guys just to clarify things.. Gerard butler is not in saat khoon maaf..I don't know where these fictional stories come out as news," Priyanka wrote on her Twitter page.
The National-award-winning actress also insists she will be more careful with her tweets on the micro-blogging website in the future.
"I'm almost scared to tweet nething now cause of journos and their overactive imaginations who make up stories by just presuming my mindframe," Priyanka wrote.
Butler, who had visited India last year had met Priyanka on the sets of her film What's your Raashee and she is said to have thrown a farewell party for him.
