C K Nayudu ?A? grade cricket from Nov 20

C K NAYUDU ‘A’ grade cricket tournament organised by Indore Divisional Cricket Association will begin November 20. The matches will be played on 90 over basis (two days) and it will be a knockout tournament. IDCA secretary Kanwaljeet Khanuja said the draws would be held at IDCA office in Nehru Stadium on November 18 at 7 pm. All the ‘A’ grade-registered teams would be taking part in the tournament.

DAVV beat Gujarat University
DAVV CRICKET team thrashed Gujarat University in the West Zone Inter-University Cricket Tournament being played at Rajkot on Tuesday.

In the one-sided match, DAVV Indore scored 305 runs in the allotted 50 overs. Ashutosh Savner batted brilliantly to score 53 off just 27 balls while Gaurav Kshirsagar made 55. Vijay Negi and Imran Khan chipped in with useful 34 and 28 runs respectively.

In reply, Gujarat University was bundled out for merely 76 in 20 overs. Praveen Karlekar took three wickets while Imran Khan and Vijay Negi took two wickets each to help their team to victory.

Sagar beat Indore
INDORE DIVISION took second spot in the State-level Women’s Badminton Tournament being played in Bhopal.

In the final, Sagar division beat Indore eves by a margin of 2-1.
Earlier, Sagar had defeated hosts Bhopal while Indore beat Ujjain to sail into the final.
