Calendar showcases budding artists

AN ART group ‘Rekhankan Kala Sanstha’ has brought to the fore creativity of budding painters in the form of a calendar, which Culture Minister Laxmikant Sharma released recently.

The children whose paintings feature in the calendar were also present on the occasion along with ‘Rekhankan Kala Sanstha’s Avriti Bhatnagar. Also present at the release of the calendar were Rizvi, Ramesh Nanvani, Dipti Singh and Kaushal along with parents of the children.

The calendar also has a painting by Arushi Bhatnagar from Indore who had become the youngest painter in the world at the age of one- and- half year. 

Each month is decorated with particular paintings. January month has paintings by Shikhar Agrawal (DPS), Aagosh Choudhary (DPS) and Palak Shukla (Asha Niketan). 

February features Suniti Bhatnagar (St Joseph Convent) and Hansika Agrawal (DPS). March month is decorated with paintings of Manu Upadhyay (Horizon) and Arushi Bhatnagar (Crescendo Academy, Indore). April – Aadesh Jain (DPS) and Jheelu Bajaj (DPS), May - Richa Nanvani (Carmel Convent) and Shreyas Agrawal (DPS), June - Darshana Chaturvedi (All Saints’) and Shubham Singhai (DPS), July- Medha Agrawal (DPS) and Jharna Agrawal (Sagar Public School), August - Mili Gupta (DPS) and Ishita Bhatnagar (Advance Academy Indore), September - Vedant Dubey (Maharshi Vidya Mandir) and Riddhi Jain (DPS), October - Asavari Savant (St Joseph Convent) and Vibhuti Pandey (St Joseph Convent, Jabalpur), November – Bhakti Jain (DPS) and Anshul Rathore (Jawaharlal Nehru School) and December – Sanjivani Singh (DPS).
