DIRECTOR OF Uttar Pradesh Minorities Financial and Development Corporation Zafar Amin Dakku has called upon the Muslims to raise their standard of education.

He was delivering his views at an annual function of Darul Uloom Husainia at Diwan Bazar.

Dakku applauded UP Governor TV Rajeswar for giving his consent to set up Maulana Mohammad Ali Jauhar University. The proposal passed by the assembly was pending at the Governor House. Claiming it as a victory of struggle of Urban Development Minister Azam Khan, Dakku said a motorcycle procession would be taken out by Samajwadi Party members on June 20 to celebrate the victory day.

Dakku hoped that setup of the university would pave the way to impart education among the people of the minority community.

The university would succeed in providing them with quality education, he added.

Dakku gave away prizes to the meritorious students of the Darul Uloom.
