Chennai-based Robotix Lab, an academy for robotics, is organising a camp on robotic engineering basics for students aged eight years and above on January 25, 26 and February 1 at Loyola College in Chennai.

The camp will begin with an interactive introductory session on the definition and understanding of robotics, followed by a hands-on session with mechanical motorised kit. Students would be asked to work on the basic Lego kit in teams.

After understanding the basics, they would also be trained to construct and present a different piece each day without repetition. The camp would end with sharing of valuable tips and help children in their next levels as they build their robots.

The students would be evaluated with a small test, for which a certificate would be awarded.
