THE STUDENTS, staff and management of Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School, BHEL organised a farewell for the outgoing students on Thursday at school premises. In the special assembly, the school principal Dr Sr.

Noel wished the students of class XII happiness and success in all future ventures.he reminded them of their role in the life and advised them to uphold the noble values and principals that they have received from their school. She encouraged them to make the best of their life.This was followed by the protocol, where the captains handed over their charges to the vice captains.

The school captain expressed her love and gratitude towards her school and teachers. The outgoing students were awarded prizes for excellence in academics and co-curricular activities, regularity, responsibility, sincerity and service to the poor and downtrodden. Speaking on the occasion Vice Principal, BSSS College, Dr Sr. Johnsy Mathews, chief guest motivated the students to prepare them for the ups and downs in life.

Ms Kiran Awasthy, guest of honour, advised the students to be the perfect role model of women and not forget the duties and responsibilities. The most interesting part of the programme was ramp walk. Nikita Suri was crowned as Miss Eve and Tavleen Singh as the runner up. Anshita Shrivastava was adjudged the best all rounder and Miss Carmel of the year.     

In the afternoon a get together was arranged to bid farewell to the students. The students of junior classes presented variety of cultural programmes on the occasion.
