CAT 2013 results announced, 8 score 100 percentile

The Common Admission Test (CAT) results for admission to Indian Institute of Managements (IIMs) and other business schools for the year 2013 was announced on Tuesday.

Candidates can log into www.cat2013.iimidr.ac.in to retrieve their results, according to a statement on Monday.

The result is also being distributed by the National Informatics Centre.

“There are eight toppers this year who have managed to score 100 percentile. Also, ten people have scored in 99.99 percentile bracket, including a girl,” CAT 2013 convenor Professor Rohit Kapoor was quoted as saying by education portal shiksha.com.

All the toppers are men and four of the toppers are from Andhra Pradesh, one from Delhi and three are from Mumbai, shikha.com said.

Two of the candidates are from IIT Kharagpur and IIT Chennai, it said.

Access to the results will be available till the end of this year.

Candidates have been advised to retain a printed copy of their score card.

CAT 2013 was conducted in 76 secure test centres across 40 cities over a 20-day testing window from October 16 to November 11, 2013.
