CBSE declares Class 12 results for Delhi, Dehradun

The Central Board of Secondary Education declared Class 12 exam results for Delhi and Dehradun regions on Thursday. The results in the rest of the regions have already been declared.

Girls performed better in the Delhi region with a lead of 10.25% pass percentage over the boys. The Delhi region recorded a pass percentage of 86.78%. The Thiruvananthapuram region, results for which were declared on May 26, came out on top with 94.26%.

Students can access the results on,, and also through SMS and Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS).

While the results of Ajmer, Allahabad, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Panchkula and Patna Regions were declared on Wednesday, results of Chennai and Thiruvananthapuram regions were declared on May 26.

The pass percentage of the Chennai region was 91.63%. The pass percentage of Bhubaneswar region stood at 86.25%, Ajmer at 86.22%, Panchkula at 82.84%, Guwahati at 75.80% and Patna at 73.53%.

The students who failed to clear the exams will appear for compartment exams and will be provided three chances to qualify. The candidates who appeared for the examination in the year 2012 or before and are placed in the 'compartment' category will be provided five chances.

New Delhi's Paras Sharma was the all-India topper in the CBSE Class 12 exams last year with 99% marks.

A student of commerce at Lancer Convent School in Rohini, Sharma scored a perfect 100 each in mathematics, accountancy, economics and business studies and 95 in English.
