THE CBSE science exhibition will be held for Ajmer region at Jawaharlal Nehru School, BHEL, on August 31 from 9 am to 5 pm. According to a press release issued by the school management, the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, is organising the regional-level science exhibition in Bhopal.
About 24 schools from Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh will be participating and about 45 exhibits are expected for display. General Manager (TB), BHEL, and president BHEL Shiksha Mandal R K Shukla will inaugurate the exhibition at 9 am.
The valedictory function will be held on the same day at 4:30 pm. The chief guest for this function will be Director General, MP Council of Science and Technology Dr Mahesh Sharma. The main theme of the exhibition is “science and technology for rural development” and the sub themes are environmental management, industries and rural development, landmarks in science, information and communication technology in education and mathematical models.
Science teachers, students and parents are invited to visit the venue in the second half of the day from 1:30 pm to 4 pm.
