Subscribers of mobile telephone services in Delhi and Mumbai are more satisfied than their counterparts in Patna and Kolkata. This is clear from the findings of Hindustan Times C fore survey.
In Delhi, 34 per cent of the subscribers surveyed said that they didn’t face any call drops. In Mumbai, 31 per cent didn’t witness any call drops. However, the number fell to 21 per cent in Patna, 24 per cent for Kolkata and 2 per cent for Chandigarh.
Similarly, Delhi subscribers are most satisfied with their billing system. About 37 per cent of the subscribers said that they didn’t face any billing related problem compared to about 21 per cent in Patna.
Delhi stays on top in customer care satisfaction too, with 59 per cent of those surveyed saying they were satisfied with the customer care response. Only 19 per cent of those surveyed in Bhopal said that they were satisfied with customer care of their service providers.
As a result, while 46 per cent of subscribers were willing to change their service provider if they could retain their number, the number fell to 35 per cent in Delhi. This clearly shows that Patna subscribers are most dissatisfied with their operators, giving them an average rating of 5.47 on 10, compared to Delhi’s 6.31.
