Chandu Shinde elected Indore Colts? president

CHANDU SHINDE and Amardeep Pathania were elected president and secretary of Indore Colts Cricket Club in the recently concluded annual general body meeting.

CHANDU SHINDE and Amardeep Pathania were elected president and secretary of Indore Colts Cricket Club in the recently concluded annual general body meeting.

Ashok Patel and Satyanarayan Bangera are patrons. J S Anand has been elected as chairman, while Bharat Juneja, Alpesh Shah, Manoj Gupta, Jitendra Lalwani and Manish Agarwal are vice presidents.

Prem Patel and Samunder Singh Chouhan have been elected as joint Secretaries, while Dinesh Pastel is treasurer. Sudheer Asnani, Sanjeev Dua and Rajiv Risodkar have been elected to technical committee. Mahaveer Arya, Kanwaljeet (Goldi) Vinod, Bhushan Verma, Virendra Yadav, J S Dhilon and Rajesh Kanojia have been elected as committee members.

Niranjan Shirkhe and A S Pathania are chief coaches. Manjoj Joshi, Naveen Rawat and Shailendra Rawat will assist them.
State taekwondo teams announced

MP TAEKWONDO teams that will take part in the National Taekwondo Championship to be held in Chennai from September 17 have been announced.

Men: Jitendra Verma, Atul Jat, Jagjit Singh Mand, Arjun Singh Rawat, Vijay Singh, Hemant Singh, Niket Sharma and Anupam Parihar.

Women: Jyoti Walsankar, Monica Rayakwr, Anjana Sharma, Kavita Rai, Shalu Rayakwar, Rashmi Chouhan and Neha. Pratam and Sudheer Kale will be the coaches while Sharat Chandra and Mansotra will be the managers.

IK students win chess tourney
ISLAMIA KARIMIA College won the inter-collegiate chess tournament. Abhisar Sakkale, Swatantra Jain, Mithundas and Mahendra helped their college to win. College principal A K Shrivatsav and the management have congratulated their students for their brilliant performance.

Aishwarya selected
AISHWARYA AGARWAL of Indore is one among the 50 girls selected from all over India to visit China from October 8 to 17.
Union Sports Ministry has selected 50 boys and 50 girls from all over India in different fields. Aishwarya has been selected in tennis.

Award ceremony on September 16
JAGDALE AWARD ceremony organised by Khanuja Cricket Club will be held on September 16 at Jal auditorium. Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association chairman and MP Jyotiraditya Scindia will be the chief guest.

He will present the Jagdale award. Club patron Sajjan Singh Verma will preside over the function along with MPCA secretary and national cricket selector Sanjay Jagdale.

Rahul appointed
RAHUL VYAS has been appointed to officiate in the national judo competition to be held in Lucknow. MP Judo Association office-bearers and committee members have congratulated Rahul for being selected to officiate in the national judo competition.
