Ghaziabad Police filed a chargesheet against UP politician D.P. Yadav, Salim Khan and Tanu Chaudhary on March 27 in a case of poisoning Ajay Katara, prime witness in Nitish Katara murder case.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Raghubir Lal said in 2007 a chargesheet was filed against four persons and a supplementary chargesheet was later filed on March 27.
Ajay Katara was given food laced with poison after some persons called him to Mohan Nagar allegedly to reach a compromise with his wife Tanu Chaudhary.
SSP Raghubir Lal told Hindustan Times that he received an application through Yadav's lawyers on Thursday stating that their client was falsely implicated in the case and the facts of the case were false and incorrect.
