Tamil Nadu police have filed a chargesheet against the Editor of UK-based magazine

Maxim

and four others in the case relating to publishing a morphed photograph of South Indian actress Khushboo in skimpy attire.

The photograph, published in the first Indian edition of the magazine in January 2006, had generated a controversy and the actress filed a police complaint against those involved after she refused to accept a compromise from Maxim's side.

Crime Branch Inspector Inbakumar said that five of the accused Editor Sunil Mehra, Art Director Anjan Das, Publisher and Printer Xavier Collaco, Deputy General Manager (Circulation) Deepak Bhatt and Regional Circulation Manager (Chennai) Fazil Husain Khan have been named in the chargesheet in connection with publication of the morphed photograph.

While Bhatt and Khan have already obtained anticipatory bail from the Madras High Court in the case, the other three were denied bail, both in the Madras High Court and the Supreme Court, Inbakumar said.

Reacting to the chargesheet, actress Khushboo, who is away at Hyderabad, told reporters there that she would wait for the final outcome of the case.
