Children will walk the ramp at mega fashion show today

KIDS MEGA fashion show, the star event of the Kids Karnival at Treasure Island, will be held at 7.00 pm on Saturday. The fashion show will comprise ramp walk by 40 children who were selected through auditions. The children will sashay down the ramp with professional models like Samit Hemnani, Akshay Rangshahi, Mukesh Salve and Kalpana.

KIDS MEGA fashion show, the star event of the Kids Karnival at Treasure Island, will be held at 7.00 pm on Saturday. The fashion show will comprise ramp walk by 40 children who were selected through auditions. The children will sashay down the ramp with professional models like Samit Hemnani, Akshay Rangshahi, Mukesh Salve and Kalpana.

The fashion show will be held in unique manner with a surprise element for the viewers. Live rock band ‘Square One’ and dance group ‘Casper’ will perform in the middle of the fashion show.

The lucky draw of the Karnival will also be held on October 7 just after the fashion show. The participants of lucky draw must bring along the prize coupons to the event.

The regular activities on Friday were dedicated to 50 children from Deaf and Dumb Higher Secondary School, Scheme No 71. Treasure Island gave free entry to these children and also conducted a drawing competition for them.

Pankaj Mulchandani, Jaya Ijeli and Mamta Jamra won the first, second and third prizes in the competition. The winners were gifted with vouchers and gift hampers.

The children danced and played games and were happy to be a part of the mainstream of the society. Cookieman provided hampers to all the children from Deaf and Dumb School and Wadilal treated them with ice cream.

Big Bazaar arranged complimentary meals for them. Treasure Island distributed stationary to them. A singing competition was held in the evening. Hindustan Times is the media partner for the event.
