China captain Zheng Zhi has made his debut for Celtic against Rangers, playing a part in his team's first-half goal in the Scottish Premier League match. The 29-year-old striker, who spent three years at Charlton in the English Premier League, was floored on Sunday while dribbling into the Rangers area in the 25th minute and Aiden McGeady scored from the resulting penalty.
That brought Celtic back to 2-1 after two early strikes by Kenny Miller.
Zheng has signed a two-year deal with Celtic. He had been waiting for a work permit and international clearance to make his debut.
