Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has demanded a CBI inquiry into IPL mess saying the league brought disgrace in the name of sport. Bookies were openly fixing matches and even Dawood Ibrahim was said to be involved in all this.

Chouhan said this while speaking at Kabir Mahakumbh here at municipal corporation ground on Sunday.

Coming heavily on the Indian Premier League the CM said he demanded a CBI inquiry into all this mess (gadbadjhala) and those found guilty should be put behind the bars.

“In the IPL players are being purchased. I urge Sachin Tendulakar to come out of this mess”, he added.
