Chouhan, Rohani extend Christmas greetings

CHIEF MINISTER Shivraj Singh Chouhan, his ministerial colleagues, Speaker Ishwardas Rohani and leaders of different political parties have greeted people on the occasion of Christmas.

In his message on the occasion, Chouhan said Christ’s message of brotherhood, amity, unity, compassion and service was relevant in all times. Extending greetings to Christians on the occasion, he said he hoped they would emulate Christ’s teachings and contribute to the progress and prosperity of the country.

Assembly Speaker Ishwardas Rohani said Christ’s message of peace, compassion and service of humanity, if followed in the right spirit, could make this world a better place to live.

Several of Chouhan’s ministerial colleagues, leader of Opposition in the State Assembly Jamuna Devi, BJP State president Narendra Singh Tomar and organisation general secretary Kaptan Singh Solanki, State Congress chief Subhash Yadav and his colleagues in the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) also extended greetings to Christians on the occasion of Christmas.
