At the Festival of Festive Music at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) this weekend, the audience will get to munch on some Christmas delights such as cookies and ginger bread, while tapping their toes to the Christmas carols.
“We have planned several other surprise elements which will be unravelled during the show. The concert sums up the magic of the festival and by the end of it, everyone will get into the spirit of Christmas,” said Alfred D’Souza, the festival director.
The festival, which is being organised for the 28th year by the Stop Gaps Cultural Academy and NCPA, is a two-day choral concert of Christmas music being performed by choirs from across India.
Participating choir groups include Pune’s Bel Cantilina, Santacruz Ensemble, Choir of the Church at Powai and Happy Home and School for the Blind Choral Group amongst others.
