City?s first cineplex to open today

HAVING UNDERGONE a renovation, Jyoti Cinema in the City has come up as the City?s first Cineplex. The Cineplex will be open to public, with the release of ?Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna? on August 11.

HAVING UNDERGONE a renovation, Jyoti Cinema in the City has come up as the City’s first Cineplex. The Cineplex will be open to public, with the release of ‘Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna’ on August 11.

Addressing a press conference here today, the owner DL Bagga said the centrally air-conditioned Cineplex has pushback seats, Dolby digital sound system, smoking zone and cafeteria.

“Special security would be provided and smoking will not be allowed in the premises, accept in the smoking zone,” he said. Bagga said a kids zone has been set up for entertainment of kids and in another three months, computerized booking would be introduced for online booking too.

The seating capacity has been reduced from 1000 to 400 and ticket prices for platinum is Rs 70 and super platinum Rs 100 per person, along with advanced booking facility.
