One civilian was injured when separatist guerrillas hurled a grenade at a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) bunker in Jammu and Kashmir's Sopore town Friday.
Police said guerrillas targeted the bunker of the paramilitary force outside the State Bank of India branch in Sopore town, about 50 km from here, but the grenade exploded on the ground.
“The grenade exploded on the road injuring one civilian, named Tanveer Ahmad. He has been shifted to a hospital for treatment. The area has been surrounded for searches,” a police official said.
