Few things to keep in mind while cleaning your precious laptop.
: Unplug your laptop before cleaning. Use compressed air, to blow out any dust or dirt in the keyboard. Wipe the keys with a damp cloth. Buy cleaning products for your laptop at an electronics store or use a solution of 50% water and 50% rubbing alcohol. Do not ever make the mistake of using any soapy solution as it can do more harm than good to your laptop.
Cleaning the screen:
Use a moist cloth, to clean your laptop screen. Use circular movements to clean and ensure that you are not pressing too hard, try not to leave streaks behind as they will effect your clear screen vision later. Also, wipe it with a dry cloth after you are done.
Cleaning the outside of your laptop:
Clean the body in the same way as you clean the screen — with a cleaning solution and a damp cloth.
Cleaning the ports:
To clean the ports on your laptop, blow compressed air in the ports, using the Q-tip as a buffer between the compressed air and your laptop’s fan. If you cause it to spin faster than it is designed, it can break your fan.
