What happens when you have balloons in the shape of dolphins, Pooh and Bugs Bunny floating in the air, a puppet show getting your attention and kids carelessly running everywhere? You are bound to believe that you are in a wonderland.
This wonderland was a two-day kids carnival - Cloud Cuckoo Farm (CCF) - held here Jan 16-17 at Khushii Farm in south Delhi's Vasant Kunj.
Flagging off her own corporate journey, Pallavi Luthra, daughter of VLCC group founder Vandana Luthra, is the brain behind the CCF concept.
The money raised from this carnival will be given to an NGO Khushii that supports causes related to the girl child.
“CCF was my childhood fantasy and I always wanted to be in a wonderland where no one ever grows up. It's a dream come true for me,” Pallavi told IANS of the event.
“Children bring so much joy into our lives. My nephew reminds me of innocence, laughter and love. He has inspired me to give children more to look forward to.
“We often forget the magic of childhood and I not only want every child to revel in it but also remind everyone to stop growing up and grow down just this once. This carnival is just for that," she added.
The fair also witnessed a fashion show where mothers walked along with their kids on the ramp in designer Ritu Beri's clothes.
Socialites like Nisha Singh, Payal Jain, Priya Chatwal, Pallavi Luthra, Ritu Beri and many more walked the ramp with their kids.
To attract kids and keep them busy throughout the day, the fair offered activities like painting section, a cricket pitch, chocolate factory, eating joint, animal kingdom set up by People for Animals (PFA) where the puppies can be adopted and much more.
