The spokesperson said that Rs 62 lakh would be given to the NoK of 27 dead and 16 seriously injured persons in Jammu division while Rs 23.50 lakh would be provided to NoK of 10 dead and 7 seriously injured persons in Kashmir division.

The NoK of those persons who died in the floods will get Rs 2 lakh each as compensation while those seriously injured will be paid Rs 50,000 each, the spokesman added.
