A Goa-based Coast Guard helicopter made an emergency landing today in a paddy field near here.
K Raghuvansi, Coast Guard DIG (Paradip) said the pilot and the co-pilot were safe.
The chopper was returning from Barrackpore in West Bengal to Bhubaneswar after a major repair, he told PTI over the phone.
It landed at Nagabali village near Pratap Nagari at about 3pm following a technical snag, said Ranjit Prusty, a local police officer, quoting the pilot.
The pilot, however, did not give details of the technical snag, he said.
