Three drug peddlers were arrested in Ghaziabad for carrying fine quality cocaine valued at Rs 30 million in the international market, police said on Wednesday.

Detectives of Ghaziabad Police arrested the trio - Yousuf, Sartaj and Rambabu - from the Bhaupura crossing near Sahibabad police station and recovered one kg of cocaine from them.

According to police, they belong to the Baghpat and Moradabad districts of Uttar Pradesh and during interrogation revealed the source, which police refused to divulge.

"We cannot reveal the name of the kingpin as investigations are still underway. We are also probing their customers in the city," said Senior Superintendent of Police Deepak Ratan.
