Collector suspends school headmistress

DISTRICT COLLECTOR SK Mishra suspended the headmistress of Govt Sanjay Gandhi Middle School Jayshree Meshram with immediate effects after receiving serious complaints against her.

DISTRICT COLLECTOR SK Mishra suspended the headmistress of Govt Sanjay Gandhi Middle School Jayshree Meshram with immediate effects after receiving serious complaints against her.  

According to the press release, the girl students of Govt Sanjay Gandhi Middle School registered complaints against the headmistress about the irregularities committed in the school. Students informed the collector that the school has not been cleaned for many days.

The Collector sends an education department team to check the complaints registered by the girls. During the visit, the team found that some teachers arrived late to school by over fifteen minutes. Even headmistress Meshram came late by over 45 minutes. There were no proper seating arrangements, uniforms were not distributed to the students and irregularities detected in the mid-day meal scheme.

One increment of the teachers who came late to school has been stopped. The Collector has warned that any irregularity will face serious action.
