DISTRICT COLLECTOR SK Mishra on Tuesday warned that strict action would be taken against employees found absent from the survey work of the families living below poverty line (BPL). Mishra conducted surprise inspection of survey work at Panchsheel Nagar and Shyam Nagar on Tuesday.

The residents of these areas also registered their complaints with the collector. The Panchsheel Nagar residents demanded the construction of a Sulabh complex in the area. Mishra directed the officials to select the site for the same. The residents also complained about the clinics of quacks in their areas.

The employees, pressed for the survey in this area, complained to the collector about inadequate staff. Meanwhile, the district collector said that action against the absent employees would be taken from Wednesday. Such employees are given last opportunity for receiving training on Wednesday.

The training session would start from 2 pm on June 21 at the district collector’s office.
