Comedy shows are getting popular among residents. Several malls in the city have earmarked special time for these shows.

Comedy shows are getting popular among residents. Several malls in the city have earmarked special time for these shows.

At Costa Coffee in Cross Point Mall, DLF Phase 4, stand-up comedy programmes are organised on Saturday evenings. Artistes such as Neeti Palta, Gursimran Khamba, Sanjay Rajoura and Rajneesh Kapoor have already performed here. Next week, Tanmay Bhat will be here for another memorable evening.

Santhosh Unni, CEO, Costa Coffee India, said, "Coffee is becoming synonymous with good times and a cheerful ambience." Famous stand-up comedian and Hollywood actor Rob Schneider was in the city last week for a comedy evening at Westin.

Italiano at Nathupur, DLF Phase 3 has announced a special stand-up comedy night on December 9. Sanjiv Puri, managing director, Italiano, said, "We have decided to make it a regular affair."

Neeti Palta, a female comedian, said, "Stand-up comedy is the latest trend in entertainment world."
