After the successful launch of innovative 'Personality Series Notebooks' and 'Palmistry Journals', city-based book technology firm Srinivasa Fine Arts (SFA) has now come out with its 'Vedic Cosmos' diaries.
The new Vedic Cosmos diaries for year 2007 highlights the Indian heritage with special information about vedas, interspersed with quotes from Bhagawat Gita, C Rajesh, Managing Director of SFA told PTI.
A special thread with two genuine rudraksha beads for tying is another speciality of the diary, he said, adding it also has research material relating to Hindu festivals.
"Through the high-end Vedic Cosmos range, SFA is enhancing its export market and at the same time purveying ancient Indian values and wisdom, particularly aiming at the modern Indian youth residing abroad," he said.
Fifty per cent of the diaries produced by the company was now being exported, he said.
Meanwhile, the company's 2007 calender series, 'Eternal India', illustrates India through ages. While 'Festivals of India' depicts lively festivals, 'Women of South India' portrays paintings of South Indian women.
He said 30 professionals, including graphic experts, copy writers and vedic scholars, have been involved in the design of such diaries and calenders.
Rajesh said it was in 2003 that "personality" series of note books, with sketches about personalities like Mahatma Gandhi and William Shakespeare, were launched. Palmistry Journal and Chanakya Journal were also introduced soon.
