The management of Oerlinkon Graziano, the parent company of India-based Graziano Transmissioni Ltd., said on Tuesday police were late in reaching the spot.
The company management alleged despite being informed, police reached the spot only after the rampaging crowd had beaten up Choudhary and fled the scene.
In his statement to the press, Marcello Lamberto, CEO of Oerlinkon Segment Drive Systems, said, “This is by no means a regular labour conflict but criminal action. The whole of Oerlikon Group is close to the family of Chaudhary in this terrible moment and feels with the whole Oerlikon Graziano India team, who are so seriously affected by this criminal act.”
Family alleges murder
Family members of Lalit Kishore Choudhary feel it was a cold-blooded murder carried out with police connivance.
Dr G.K. Choudhary, elder brother of the deceased and Resident Medical Superintendent at the MCD-run Atma Ram Gupta Polyclinic in Trinagar, Delhi, told Hindustan Times, “The way my brother Lalit Kishore Choudhary was beaten to death points towards a planned, cold-blooded murder.”
