It seems, criminals are no longer afraid of the police. Two complainants, who went to Indirapuram police station to lodge a complaint after a brawl at a mall in Ghaziabad, were shot at by the accused in front of the police station.

The matter evolved on Friday evening when a group of bouncers, employed at a restaurant in a mall, picked up some altercation with Nirdosh Kasana, a resident of Kaushambi.

As the matter could not be resolved, the bouncers decided to proceed to the police station to lodge a complaint against Kasana, who is a history sheeted criminal of Loni, Ghaziabad.

While the complainants and their friends were standing outside the police station, Kasana threatened them to not file an FIR against him. When the men did not listen to him, Kasna fired at least three shots from a country-made pistol and then ran away. “The injured are out of danger,” said a police officer.
