Cong demands Ananth Kumar's resignation

Congress in Karnataka today demanded the resignation of BJP national General Secretary H N Ananth Kumar from the Lok Sabha as allegations of his links with the controversial corporate lobbyist Niira Radia has surfaced.

Congress in Karnataka on Saturday demanded the resignation of BJP national General Secretary H N Ananth Kumar from the Lok Sabha as allegations of his links with the controversial corporate lobbyist Niira Radia has surfaced.

Talking to reporters, KPCC president G Parameshwara urged the Centre to investigate into the allegations against Kumar.

He said earlier also Kumar faced allegations of his involvement in HUDCO scam and he should quit his Lok Sabha membership on moral grounds.

BJP is pumping in money for the Zilla and Taluk Panchayat elections to lure voters, he charged.
