Union minister and AICC General Secretary in charge of Bihar Mukul Wasnik has convened a meeting on Monday to discuss the party's election preparations for the Bihar Assembly elections scheduled later this year.
The meeting will be held in Delhi, Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) General Secretary and MLC Sanjay Dutt said.
Dutt, who has recently been appointed as Chief Co-ordinator of the AICC co-ordination centre for the Bihar polls, said that the party's election plank would be stability and development of the state.
He said party will be deputing observers district-wise and constituency-wise who will campaign in their assigned areas to co-ordinate implementation of the party agenda.
Congress also plans to organise public meetings of top party leaders including Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, he said.
