Jaibal (55) was elected from Kolachel assembly constituency in Kanyakumari district

The body would be taken to his native Peruvilai village near Nagercoil and the last rites would be performed tomorrow, they added.

Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister M K Stalin and State Congress Committee President K V Thankgabalu paid their last respects to the departed leader, they added.
