The ruling Mizo National Front (MNF) and the main opposition Congress were neck and neck in the race for power in Mizoram as votes polled in assembly elections were counted Monday.

According to early trends, the Congress was leading in three seats and the MNF in two. Mizoram has a 40-member assembly and Mizos voted Dec 2.
