Chief patron of Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party, Bhim Singh, has accused both the BJP and the Congress of working to promote the political interests of the National Conference (NC), least realising the dangers hidden within the NC agenda.
He was addressing gathering at Palanwala in Chhamb sector on the first day of his five-day tour to assess the ground situation after the recent unprovoked firing from Pakistani side in border areas on Tuesday. The tour has been organised by the border defence committee.
Singh accused the Congress and the NC of betraying the Panthers Party by backtracking from its promise to provide housing land in safe zone to the border people, where they could take shelter during firing from the Pakistani side.
He claimed that the Congress had signed an agreement to provide RBA status to the residents along the international border, which had not been done.
He was accompanied by party MLA Yashpaul Kundal.
