WITH Nach Baliye-2, the reality couple dance programme aired on Star One, getting tougher, some of its contestants are also campaigning to garner votes. Two such couple participants jodi number 2, Gauri and Yash Tonk and jodi number 3 Manav Gohil and Shweta Kawaatra were in the City to garner votes.

They were excited and anxious but confident. Says Manav, “The show is really amazing as it keeps us on our toes to perform our best.”

He says he was really excited about the show but it took some convincing to pursue his wife Shweta to participate in the show. Shweta who has never actually performed on the stage said, “I always become nervous while performing on the stage but its Manav who keeps me motivated.”

Another couple Yash and Gauri Tonk who have acted together in Kahin Kissi Roz said the show was the best platform for small screen actors to be together and enjoy life away from hectic schedules.

Yash who postponed his film shooting for the show was quite excited about their forthcoming episode on comedy in which they believe they have performed their best.

The first season of Nach Baliye was a run away success and the format of its second innings, which remains same features some surprise elements.

Both couples affirm that voting out one of the participants among them is the worst thing they are asked to do but its part of the show. They agree that being criticised on the show was embarrassing but it polishes skills and ‘that’s the best part of it’.

The participants dance to a unique theme each week and film director Kunal Kohli, Mallika Arora Khan and ace choreographer Saroj Khan judges the performances.

Both couples concluded by requesting votes saying, “Dancing is not our forte, but we love dancing and are trying to put our best. But we require everybody’s support in this new attempt of ours.”
