Noida Police arrested three more rape accused on Saturday. However, the villagers alleged the men had surrendered.

Deputy Superintendent of Police, RN Mishra, said, “We learnt that they were planning to leave the city. The station house officer of Sector 39, Anil Samani, arrested them from the Amrapalli area.” Mishra identified the accused as Sharad Yadav alias Omkar, son of Nepal Yadav; Shashi Kant Yadav alias Kalu, son of Vedpal and Golu Jatav, son of Prahalad Jatav.

“The cell phone of complainant Amit Panwar was recovered from Golu while the victim’s phone was found with Sharad. Her gold ring was with Shashi Kant,” said the DSP, adding, “a manhunt has been launched to arrest the accused Tuniya alias Pushpender.”

Mahipal Yadav, Tuniya’s father, however claimed the villagers had surrendered their wards at the Sector 39 police station. “I too made my son surrender, but now they are claiming that he’s absconding.”
