A head constable has been arrested for allegedly having links with terrorists in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said in Jammu on Wednesday.
Head Constable Mohammad Sharief, who was absconding since the last one week, was arrested on Tuesday from Rajouri town. Sharief was posted at the district police lines at Rajouri, they said.
His wife Ruksana Begum was earlier detained for questioning after recovery of a satellite phone from their house in Kalaban area of Rajouri district. The couple was allegedly using it to contact Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists.
