Cops clueless about killers

THE CITY police are working on all the aspects of the gruesome double murder at the Marwari Road, there is hardly any clue about the identity of the killers though.

THE CITY police are working on all the aspects of the gruesome double murder at the Marwari Road, there is hardly any clue about the identity of the killers though.

Eight teams have been constituted for investigations. Apart from the possibility of an old enmity, the police are also looking at the domestic conflicts and the possibility of a financial dispute that prompted such brutal murders.

There were disputes within the family and one of the deceased’s son has been missing for the last four years. But the deceased never registered complaint with the police about his disappearance.

The police are also trying to locate him. The husband and wife were killed with separate weapons suggesting the possibility of more than one killers, according to sources.

CSP Shailendra Singh Chauhan said that the efforts are on to trace the killers. The police have certain vital clues and hopefully the culprits would be caught, he said.

Meanwhile, Minister for Commerce and Industries Babulal Gaur visited the house of the deceased Chhaganlal Agarwal today morning and commiserated with the family.

MLA Umashankar Gupta accompanied him. Gaur sought information about the investigation process from the police officials. The Minister expressed hope that the killers would be brought to book soon.
