ONLY THOSE writers who take upheavals of life as challenge can come out with creative literature, prominent Oriya Writer Pratibha Rai said today. She was speaking at interactive programme organised by the Utkal Samaj, Bhopal.
Hindi litterateur Govind Mishra, president of Utkal Samaj Santosh Kumar Raut and Poornachandra Rath were prominently present.
Rai said creating literature is an addiction and writers who get above the expectations can create such literature. She said only those who fight the negative situations have courage to speak truth and she has always adhered to this principle. She also highlighted the importance of giving due honour to national language Hindi and said that she always delivers her lecture in national language in Hindi belt of the country.
Govind Mishra said those writers who maintain quality despite numbers are really good litterateurs.
