A court in Kollam on Tuesday permitted police to search the Italian ship Enrica Lexie to seize the arms allegedly used by the two onboard naval guards to shoot and kill two Indian fishermen.

Valentine Jalastine and Ajeesh Binki were shot dead allegedly by marines on the ship on February 15 off Kollam coast.
The arrested marines, Latore Massimiliano and Salvatore Gironi, were on Monday sent to police custody for three days after being remanded in judicial custody for 14 days by a court in Kollam.
