CPI condems violence outside CPI-M hqrs

india Updated: Mar 10, 2008 08:31 IST

Communist Party of India on Sunday condemned the violence outside CPI-M headquarters and blamed the BJP and RSS leadership for that.

Reacting to the protest by Hindu Mahasabha activists outside CPI-M headquarters which resulted in a clash, CPI MP D Raja said violence and intolerance can't be allowed in a democracy and accused the BJP leadership of settling scores in a violent way.

He said the BJP leadership should take responsibility for Sunday's violence in Delhi and all democratic forces should condemn that strongly.
