CPI's Kerala unit on Friday began a three-day exercise of analysing the debacle suffered by the LDF in the Lok Sabha polls.
The meeting of the party state executive, which had its session today, was attended by the party's general secretary A B Bardhan and national secretaries D Raja and Sudhakar Reddy.
"We will be taking a detailed look of the political and organisational reasons that led to the poor performance of the LDF in general and the CPI in particular," Raja told PTI.
To start with, the state and district party functionaries would present their views on the factors that contributed to the poor performance at the hustings. This would be followed by interactions, based on which conclusions would be drawn.
The state council of the party would be meeting in the next two days.
The CPI had lost all the four seats it contested in the state this time.
