Crista Cullen has scored a hat trick as England defeated Wales 4-1 on day two of the Commonwealth women's field hockey competition.
Cullen struck twice through powerful flicks off short corners in the first half Tuesday and added another in the second session. Charlotte Craddock put England 4-0 ahead with a strike off an acute angle before Sarah Thomas pulled one back for Wales. It was second straight defeat for Wales in Pool B after New Zealand won 5-1 on october 4.
In other women matches, defending champion Australia meets Trinidad & Tobago, New Zealand plays Malaysia and South Africa takes on Scotland.
The men's matches are: New Zealand vs. Trinidad & Tobago, Pakistan vs. Scotland, Canada vs. South Africa and host India vs. Malaysia.
