Following the violence, the district magistrate has imposed curfew in areas falling under nine police stations covering nearly 60 per cent area of industrial town.
The DM Vikas Garg today imposed curfew in Police Division no 1, 2 , 3 and 4 while re-imposed the curfew in five police stations, where curfew was imposed on Friday after rampage of migrants.
Apart from that the DM has also asked the Divya Jyoti Jagriti Sanstahan (DJJS) organisers to vacate the place at earliest. Heavy police was deployed outside the venue so that the radical Sikhs could not reach the spot.
Meanwhile, the Radical Sikhs have scattered in all part of city and forcing the shopkeepers to shut down the shop. This has created panic in general public.
The business activities of Ludhiana- Industrial hub of Punjab has completely bring to a standstill due to unrest from last two days.
Radicals has announced complete Bandh on Sunday to protest against Punjab Government.
