Curfew imposed in the Dalit dominated Kamptee town near Nagpur in the wake of arson, was relaxed for two hours on Saturday, police said.
The curfew, clamped on Tuesday, was relaxed from 8 am to 10 am, they said adding that the situation was tense but under control.
Meanwhile, the city was limping back to normalcy, after Friday's violence during a bandh, following which police used batons and fired teargas shells.
About 199 persons, including 28 women, were arrested as a large section of Dalits protested against the killing of four members of the community in Khairlanji in Bhandara district.
