The atrocities against Dalits and Backward Classes were on the increase in Haryana. Hardly a day goes when there was no incident against them, Prince Dhanwal, president of Backward Classes Cell of state unit of Trinamool Congress (TMC), said while addressing a party rally at Narnaund here on Tuesday.

Dhanwal said: "The Congress government has failed to give justice to the downtrodden."

He said TMC would field its candidates in next Lok Sabha and assembly elections in the state.
TMC leader and Rajya Sabha member KD Singh was to address the rally but he could not come.
