Many romantic scenes from Bollywood films have been shot in Delhi. This Valentine’s Day, romance filmi style.

Kurbaan style: The movie was shot in locations such as Connaught Place, India Gate, Nizamuddin and Humayun’s Tomb. Nothing can beat a romantic drive through Delhi, cruising past India Gate. As you take her on a drive, play her favourite music. For all those who don’t have vehicles to drive around in, take her out to monuments such as the Humayun’s Tomb or Qutub Minar.

Delhi 6 romance: Nothing matches the charm of Old Delhi. The movie has been shot extensively in areas such as Chandni Chowk, Ballimaran and Jama Masjid. Take your date on a romantic journey through purani Dilli. Since most areas are shut today, it will be
easier to visit the heritage buildings. On the way, you can always pick silver earrings for her from Dariba Kalan.

Like Love Aajkal: The song Chor Bazaari from this movie has been shot in Ansal Plaza and Dilli Haat. Go to Dilli Haat and sample delicious foods from different states. Our pick would be digging into a plate-ful of momos (easy to eat without getting messy and affordable) and getting cosy in the sun.Do buy jewellery and kurtis for her.

Rang De Basanti style: The ‘college’ in this film was the India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road. The place offers good eating places, such as The American Diner. There are art exhibitions to check out and also places where you can just sit in peace and have a chat.

Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai, really! This Bebo-starrer has been shot in places such as Pragati Maidan and Ansal Plaza. Take her to the Ansal Plaza amphitheatre and share sweet nothings over a sugar candy.
