DAVV in varsity cricket semis

DAVV on Monday entered the last four in the all-India university cricket tournament being played at Gwalior. In the quarterfinal, DAVV played against Jammu. Batting first, DAVV scored 246, thanks to a brilliant unbeaten century by Bhopalkar (119).

DAVV on Monday entered the last four in the all-India university cricket tournament being played at Gwalior. In the quarterfinal, DAVV played against Jammu. Batting first, DAVV scored 246, thanks to a brilliant unbeaten century by Bhopalkar (119).

Nigudkar scored 37 and Vaishali Jain made 35. In reply, Jammu University was skittled out for 83. Payal bowled well to capture six wickets for just 10 runs. DAVV will clash against LNIP Gwalior in the semifinal on Tuesday.
Basketball

camp ends
DAVV BASKETBALL coaching camp organised jointly by Corporation (Area) Basketball Trust and DAVV concluded at the Basketball Complex on Race Course road.

The DAVV basketball team will take part in the West Zone inter-university basketball tournament to be held at Gwalior. The coaching camp was organised under the guidance of coach Vikas Kaushik.

Wishwood Cottage students excel
SHOBHIT DHAWAN of Wishwood Cottage School, Mhow brought laurels to the school winning the first position in the First Central India Golf Championship in the under-17 category. The tournament was held at Garha golf course, Indore. Abhishek Masihi stood second in the same category. In the under-13 category, Shubham Sankat won the second position. School principal Namrata Rawat, the school management and the staff members have congratulated the winners.

Kickboxing selection trials
THE SELECTION trials for the state school kickboxing tournament will be held here on December 19. The selected kickboxers will represent the MP state school team that will take part in the National School Kickboxing Tournament to be held in New Delhi from December 23 to 28.

Roller skating
THE ROLLER skating competition organised by Ajit Club concluded on Sunday. Anie Jain, Anvi Lunawat,Vaibhavi Parmar, Aishwarya Neema, Nikita Shrivatsav and Neha Borasi won the first position in their respective age groups in the girls category.

In the boys’ category, Raza Khan, Yuvraj Singh, Haril Dube, Anshuman Yadav, Jaysingh Rana and Ravi Chaparia won the first positions in their respective age groups.

School badminton
CHIRAYU, RASHI, Gouri and Shreyanshi have advanced to the finals in their respective categories in the interschool badminton tournament organised by Sartaj Academy at Narayan Bagh Balvikas Kendra.
